Yun Hai Biotech Wins Excellence Award at National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition

On November 6th, the "2025 National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition Award Ceremony & Project Roadshow" was successfully held in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Hosted by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Center, organized by the Guangzhou Disruptive Technology Innovation Center, co-organized by the Shanghai Disruptive Technology Innovation Center and Huangpu Innovation Academy, the event was supported by Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group Co., Ltd. and Hohhot Bureau of Science and Technology.

Along with the progress of the event, the list of winners of the 2025 National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition was officially announced. Chengdu Yun Hai Tetrahedron Biotech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yun Hai Biotech") successfully won the Excellence Award through multiple rounds of rigorous evaluations with its core technology project. As one of only 10 enterprises nationwide to receive this honor, it demonstrates the company’s outstanding strength in the field of disruptive technological innovation.

The National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition is an important platform for the country to promote disruptive technological innovation. It aims to discover and cultivate strategic technology projects that can reshape the industrial competition pattern and lead future development, with its evaluation process renowned for professionalism and rigor. According to official information from the competition, after layers of selection, 99 winning achievements were finally selected from numerous participating projects, forming a complete award system including Honorary Awards, Excellence Awards, Merit Awards, and Outstanding Awards. Among them, there are 4 Honorary Awards, 10 Excellence Awards, 20 Merit Awards, and 65 Outstanding Awards. The "pyramid-shaped" distribution of awards highlights the scarcity and high value of the Excellence Award.

The core technology that earned Yun Hai Biotech this award is the "Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acid (tFNA) Drug Delivery System". Developed by Professor Yunfeng Lin’s team from the National Key Laboratory of Oral Disease Research over more than a decade, this technology has successfully broken foreign technological blockades, placing China at the global forefront in this field. Endowed with advantages such as strong cell penetration, excellent biocompatibility, and high structural stability, the technology can effectively overcome the bottlenecks of traditional drug delivery and exhibit revolutionary application potential in multiple fields including ophthalmic disease treatment, central nervous system disease intervention, and medical aesthetics & health. Currently, Yun Hai Biotech has built a complete closed loop of "basic research - technology transformation - industrial implementation" around this technology, accumulated more than 100 domestic and international patents, and is accelerating the advancement of the technology towards clinical application and commercialization.
