Yunhai Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acids Unveiled at Beijing Science and Technology Expo

From July 13 to 16, the Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau, along with Yunhai Biotech, participated in the 26th China Beijing International Science and Technology Industry Expo. This four-day technology industry event, themed "Implementing Innovation-Driven Development Strategy to Enhance High-Quality Development Momentum," focused on cutting-edge technology, emerging industries, and future industrial sectors. It aimed to explore the forward direction of new-quality productivity and new spaces for high-quality development, supported by both local and international perspectives.

At the exhibition, Yunhai Biotech employed DNA origami technology to design unique DNA single strands into a tetrahedral structure that combines stability and permeability, capturing the audience's high attention and leaving a lasting impression.

The structure not only accommodates various forms of nucleic acid drugs already on the market globally but also uniquely enables the delivery of chemical small molecules and traditional Chinese medicine extracts. As a leading international next-generation framework nucleic acid delivery system with independent global intellectual property rights, it has broad applications across multiple health fields that have long troubled humanity, including neurology, ophthalmology, antimicrobial treatments, and medical aesthetics.

This project has overcome technical challenges related to nucleic acid drugs, such as poor stability, difficulty in cellular uptake, immunogenicity, and off-target effects, and has clarified their mechanisms of action. The technology has demonstrated excellent efficacy and safety in model animal trials for ophthalmology, neurology, and osteoarthritis. The company has secured 26 national invention patents and received an Outstanding Award at the National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition.

Yunhai Biotech has established a universal delivery system technology platform for tetrahedral framework nucleic acids. The company plans to operate related patents globally, supporting the translation and industrialization of tetrahedral framework nucleic acid delivery technology in advanced therapeutic drugs and medical aesthetics products.
