On September 6, Professor Toshio Shimokawa, Director of the Data Center at Wakayama Medical University in Japan, led a delegation to visit Yunhai Bio. Both parties discussed the application and collaboration opportunities of big data in the research and development of framework nucleic acid drugs.
During the visit, Professor Shimokawa gained in-depth insight into Yunhai Bio’s latest progress in the biopharmaceutical field, particularly the construction of the Center for Translational and Engineering Research of Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acids. Yunhai Bio showcased its research and achievements in innovative drugs and medical aesthetics. Professor Shimokawa expressed great interest in framework nucleic acid drugs and engaged in in-depth discussions on potential collaborations in big data.
Toshio Shimokawa is a professor at Wakayama Medical University, Director of the Data Center, Deputy Director of the Clinical Research Center at Wakayama Medical University, and a researcher at the Statistics Bureau of Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. He also serves as a data utilization advisor for Fukuoka Prefecture. He has received numerous academic honors, including the Achievement Award and Paper Award from the Japanese Society of Computational Statistics, as well as the Case Study Award from the Japan Society of Kansei Engineering.
Professor Shimokawa’s visit not only deepened our understanding of the application of big data but also laid a solid foundation for future international cooperation.
